Downtown Ada is a great place to be when in need of a last-minute study session. There are many cute spots that can act as a great study spot for students. From Foxtail Coffee to Starbucks to Panera, each of these locations are excellent choices when looking to designate an hour or two to studying. With the school year well underway, it is vital for students to remain focussed among their busy schedules.
Some students here at Eastern prefer to perform their studies in the quiet realm of their home while others may find it difficult to focus on their work in the midst of their chaotic home. Many Eastern students can be found either at Knapps Corner or in downtown Ada doing their homework or simply spending time with friends. With both of these locations about 5 to 10 minutes from Forest Hills Eastern, Knapps Corner and Ada are easily accessible and convenient for most students.
Being a senior at Forest Hills Eastern and an honors student, Elena LeCompte is an expert at finding the perfect spots when in need of a study spot. “I really like to study either at the Ada Library, Starbucks, or Panera,” Elena explains, “I try to focus my attention towards my harder classes like AP Calculus and Human Anatomy when I am away from home.” The Ada Library is a very productive and convenient place to base your studies at. For one, this library contains study rooms upstairs that are open to the public. These rooms are perfect as they include a large whiteboard and a quiet study space. Elena then explains, “The only downside of the Ada Library is that it closes really early some days of the week.” This piece of information is, in fact, a true statement. Check out the Ada Library hours down below to make sure you show up at the right time.

The Starbucks, Panera, and Foxtail locations are also great places to study. Though these spots are slightly different niches than the library study rooms, each allow for excellent collaboration and deep thinking. Some people prefer slight background noise while studying, so these two locations are perfect for this requirement. Not only do these spaces provide a focussed learning environment, but it also provides delicious foods and drinks to allow for fixed concentration.
Foxtail is another cute location that provides both a cozy atmosphere and delicious treats. Located in Ada, Foxtail has various seating options including a fireplace and a bar area overlooking the hopping downtown area. These spaces are perfect when focussing on a long essay or something similar. While at Foxtail, be sure to purchase a scoop of their homemade gelato. Each flavor is unique in its own way and definitely worth trying each flavor.
Hopefully with these special study locations, students at Eastern will better their study habits and find themselves even more studious than before.
